ABAC Structure and ABAC China Members

In 2026, ABAC is chaired by Li Fanrong, Chairman of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. The Co-Chairs are Kyuho Lee (Republic of Korea), Chair of ABAC 2025, and Ho Sy Hung (Viet Nam), incoming Chair of ABAC 2027.

ABAC has established four Working Groups and one Task Force: the Regional Economic Integration Working Group, chaired by Anna Curzon, ABAC New Zealand Member; the Sustainability Working Group, chaired by Julia Torreblanca, ABAC Chair 2024 and ABAC Peru Member; the Digital and Innovation Working Group, chaired by Janet De Silva, ABAC Canada Member; the Connectivity Working Group, chaired by Zeng Qi, ABAC China Member; and the Finance and Economics Task Force, which works across the four Working Groups, chaired by Mitsuhiro Furusawa, ABAC Japan Member.

The current Members for ABAC China are Li Fanrong, Chairman of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd.; Zeng Qi, Vice President of CITIC Group Corporation Ltd.; and Zeng Yuqun (Robin Zeng), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL).
The Alternate Members for ABAC China are Zhang Weiwu, Vice President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC); Yu Jin, Vice President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC); and Wu Meng, Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
