Yu Jin, Alternate Member for ABAC China.

Yu Jin is the Vice President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).

He has extensive experience in the management of oil and gas exploration, development and production for onshore and offshore, domestic and international, as well as conventional and unconventional projects. He has also been responsible for strategic planning and corporate management for a major central state-owned enterprise.

He has led several entities, including the Wenchang 13-1/2 Oilfield Joint Operating Company (a China–Canada cooperative project), CNOOC Iraq Limited, China United Coalbed Methane Corporation Limited, and CNOOC’s Planning Department.

He is a Professorate Senior Engineer and holds a doctoral degree.
