Wu Meng, Alternate Member for ABAC China.

Wu Meng is the Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Previously, he held a number of positions within the CCPIT and CCOIC system, including Deputy Representative of the CCPIT Representative Office in Hong Kong, Deputy Director and later Director of the Division of American and Oceanian Affairs of CCPIT, Director and later Deputy Director-General of the Department of Development and Cooperation of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), and Deputy Director-General and later Director-General of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation of CCOIC. He also served as Deputy District Mayor of Daxing District, Beijing (on temporary assignment).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an MBA from Hubei University of Technology.
